About the Internship
This is a 3-month paid internship for junior PHP developers based in Pakistan (Lahore or remote within Pakistan). You will work on real client projects alongside senior engineers at Webpenter, gaining hands-on experience in WordPress and Laravel development.
What You’ll Work On
- WordPress theme and plugin development under senior guidance
- PHP scripting and backend feature implementation
- Bug fixing and code review participation
- Writing basic unit tests and documentation
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a CS/IT degree
- Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL
- Basic understanding of WordPress or any PHP framework
- Strong eagerness to learn and communicate in English
