About the Role
Webpenter is hiring a Laravel Backend Engineer to work on enterprise SaaS platforms, RESTful APIs, and automation systems for clients in the logistics, real estate, and HR sectors across the UAE and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable RESTful APIs with Laravel
- Architect database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL) for performance
- Implement authentication systems (Sanctum, Passport, OAuth2)
- Build event-driven systems using Laravel Queues and Horizon
- Write and maintain unit and feature tests (PHPUnit / Pest)
- Document APIs using Swagger / OpenAPI
Requirements
- 4+ years of Laravel development (Laravel 10/11)
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns
- Experience with Redis, queues, and background jobs
- Proficient with Git and pull-request workflows
- API integration experience (Stripe, Twilio, Google Maps, etc.)
Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices or event-sourcing
- Docker and basic DevOps knowledge
Salary & Benefits
AED 8,000–14,000/month depending on experience. Dubai office or hybrid. Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.
